For being our first time here, we found it a great experience. The wait staff was friendly, and attentive. Our food order came out quickly, and our meal was great. The drinks were well worth the money for what you get. Margaritas were 2 for 1 between 2 pm- 6 pm. and they were really good. Take my advice get the medium.
This was our first time trying El Patron since they’ve been open in the area.. no long wait to sit. Our waiter was very nice and quick with our drinks and food. The food was awesome: the loaded nachos, omggg SOOOO GOOD. :)))) That’s almost a meal so be careful with ordering too much. I also had the cheese and chicken enchiladas. They were good as well. Our drinks were good too! I had the liquid Mari-Jane and tasted the balance of sweetness and alcohol. The menu is a bit overloaded for woman like me who never know what to pick but by the time our waiter came to the table I was able to make a decision. No taco Tuesday specials.
The kids and I decided to take my husband here for his birthday this past weekend. The service was fast, staff was friendly, and the food was delicious!! We enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day for a “Day Date”. Our waiter, “Lolo” from the day before recognized us and asked about the kids. Was not expecting him to remember us but shout out, he did! But anyway back to my experience, the Margaritas and Pina Colada’s was amazing not to mention the nachos, taco salad, and fries. Highly recommend!!
We had a great time. There are a number of unique menu items that you don't find just anywhere. Our server was friendly and quick. She answered all of our questions. The food was fantastic. Prices are reasonable. It was a little loud because there was a live band (Wednesdays and Fridays) but it was fun.
ERIK WAS PHENOMENAL!!!! Our first time here for Mother’s Day/ my birthday, the service & atmosphere was amazing! Erik’s recommendations were amazing & he made us feel so welcomed. He was the absolute best server I’ve had hands down. I never leave Google reviews but this was definitely worth it! We’re from out of town but I definitely want to be back bc everything was so perfect. Thanks for making my Mother’s Day and birthday the best experience!
We’ve been a couple of times now, and each time everything was fantastic. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Slidell. The chilaquiles were top notch, and the street corn is an amazing shareable appetizer for the table. The house margarita is 10 and better than the top shelf anywhere in town. Call and ask what different theme nights they have coming up. This is a great addition to Slidell.

This place is delicious! My sister and I came here for a lunch and it was fantastic. We were seated quickly and promptly given chips and dip. We ordered the street corn and that was the best thing I’ve tasted in quite some time. It was fresh, warm, and creamy. Would definitely recommend this place!
